I suspect she has detailed documentation of all the dirty deeds done, maybe with photos...sitting in the safe of her lawyer's office...to be released upon her death...or conviction.

Corruption and outright criminal behavior among prison guards is fairly common. They don't make a lot of money, so if someone offers them a year's salary or more, it's not at all unreasonable for them to go take a few extra bathroom breaks.The number of every day guys who are guards/involved in prison security who would have to know something was up and not say anything?
