my brother was over watching the game and he had frank gore in his superbowl for fantasy football. he needed 11 points and he would win $900. 2nd place was $400.

on that one long run where the other guy got the 9ers down to the like 2 yard line, my brother cheered so hard because he knew he would be winded and gore would come in. then 2 plays later gore punched it in for the td and i think that put him at like 14 points or so in ff.

my brother was a happy camper lol.

So, how big of a deal do you guys think the Seahawks loss is to their chances of HFA? If they win next week, they have it. Their is a scenario where they can lose and get some help (49'ers loss at AZ) and still have home field advantage.

AZ is better than I think many give them credit for. Basically in the NFC West, any team can win against another division opponent home or away.

There are three 10 win teams in the division, and if the Rams beat my 'Hawks, they will finish 8-8. When is the last time a division has been without a team with a losing record?

My hope is the loss will re-focus the team. We sure miss Percy "Glass Hip" Pervin! And of course we got jobbed on that challenge to the interception, the ball clearly hit the ground a microsecond before the receivers arm, if not at the same time.

I think it sucks that the Cardinals are not going to make the playoffs. They are a good, if uneven team, but they are certainly better than a lot of the other crap that will get in.

NFC East should be banned from the playoffs for the next 3 seasons. It really sucks seeing a 10-5 team "In the Hunt," then either Philly or Dallas sitting there in a divisional playoff spot.

Yup Philly has the #2 offense overall, the #1 rated QB and #1 rushing champion. Considering they finished dead last in 2012, how can you not like this team. Chip Kelly is pulling a Bosox John Farrell from worst to first if they can get by Dallas.

And 2 years ago the barely made the playoffs Giants beat the Patriots in the Superbowl... Sounds like the NFC East 9-7 teams are better than most of the other divisional winners. Perhaps all those 11-5 teams have a weak schedule.
