Over the last 3 years I've had to replace 4 motors, and 3 regulators at about $700 a pop. Frankly, I think there's a lot to be said for old school window cranks, like my wife's Corolla.
Often, I miss the good old days, when the only thing in the engine compartment,--------- WAS AN ENGINE!
Believe it or not, the 2011 Corolla I was talking about had problems with the manual windows and the rollers or whatever had to be replaced under warranty (got harder and harder to roll and the slop before it would start rolling was about a quarter a turn).
