I remember going somewhere once and they had something similar, I forget exactly and my grandfather got up and went into the womens.

I do not think any were in there, I just mentioned it when he came back to the table as I saw him going in, he was cool enough he would have talked his way out of it anyhow.

I remember going out with him and my grandmother when they were in their 60's thirty years ago, and he still had young hot girls hanging out around him. The younger kids at reunions used to call him Crocodile Dundee, he did look a lot like him.

Passed away a few years back, he was a local artist and highly decorated WWII vet, but he was always very laid back and never brought that up.

I miss him a lot, he was my hero growing up more or less.

It reminds me of when the Audrey character in "Little Shop of Horrors" is dressed all slutty and describes the degrading/vulgar things she used to be forced to wear as not being nice/fancy as what she's wearing now. The "fail" was in how clueless she was about what she was wearing. It was funny enough then and it still is.

So? Custom wedding dresses are very common. It was obviously made for her and probably made to her requests.

You say this as if there is no context to relate it to when there is. First of all, it's a wedding. She's not supposed to be "on the market" so blatantly flaunting what she has THERE, of all places, is not appropriate. It's trashy. Perhaps the "FAIL" is his for standing there as his wife-to-be markets herself to those around her by baring so much. That is certainly not my idea of "fancy."
