Do the Google engineers even use Chrome? How is it possible they are unaware of how terrible it has become?

I use Firefox at home occasionally, and I prefer my nickname for it: Firefuck. It's as bad as Chrome often times (just in different ways.) IE still doesn't do it for me, either. Outside of work, I spend most of my time on my Macbook, where Safari does more than enough for me. Frankly, of the big browsers out there, Safari is the best right now...

I'd give that new browser - Vivaldi - a try, but it uses Blink, which is also used by Chrome....so I have little hope for it being any good.

Well, internet explorer is having a big reformation. Though, I enjoy the cloud aspects of Chrome (IE: If I format my computer, I don't need to worry about stupid shit like saving my favorites or saved autofill.... It's saved to my gmail).

So am I not the only one who has had lots of problems with Firefox? Lots of the problems went away for weeks earlier late last year or early this year but now they have came back since the last versions that Mozilla has produced.

That's where it belongs.

Chrome runs in user mode. Every time you launch it, you're running the latest version automatically...without a UAC prompt to install an update. That's the only way to be sure the masses keep their software updated and vulnerabilities patched. Even better, because Chrome is built around the concepts of sandboxing and encapsulation, a vulnerability has a hard time affecting your system when the malicious code only has user privilege.

Chrome does that stuff the right way for sure.

Just a bit ago my mouse became really sluggish and unusable and I thought the mouse batteries were giving up so I put fresh ones in -- no help. I then went to shutdown/restart and when I hit shutdown Chrome reported it had run out of memory -- I have 16GB.

So, after rebooting I sent a report to Chrome support, the second report I sent today.

Jesus they have fucked Chrome big time!

After I wrote that a while later my Firefox started messing up and after a few crashes when I was wanting to start up Firefox again I finally got it up and running again and it was only using 400 MB regardless of whether just the library was open or the library and another session was running.
