Honestly though I don't know why there is the crosswalk like that with no way for normal safe crossing.

Old people are not necessary less worldly than this generation. They do, however, have a disturbing affinity for pun-based humor, which I can only attribute to growing up during the cold war.

First of all, I never understood the interest in the whole superhero thing, not even when I was 8 years old. Secondly, that superhero has to be the least superheroish superhero I've ever seen.
I did watch Batman as a kid and enjoyed the comedic aspects but never bought into the super powers thing. The only superhero I ever saw that actually impressed me was the sidekick for the Green Hornet -- Kato. I remember one scene where Bruce Lee as Kato was suppossed to break down a door and it was a real door, not some Hollywood thing. In fact, it was one of those metal doors you see in industrial parks. Anyway, Lee kicked the door right next to the door knob and it didn't open, but it did buckle a little. He then kicked it repeatedly for about 10 seconds and then the door blasted open. It was a real fucking metal door and even as a kid I was hugely impressed.

Well I am older than most on this board I'd guess but you should probably read what I wrote a little closer as I mentioned that I had no interest in superhero stuff even as an 8 year old.
Perhaps I was just more mature as an 8 year old than you are now!
