Most of the ingredients will go bad before I finish using all of it.

Anyway, it's just a few dollars difference. I'd have dirty dishes and a whole lot of wasted time.

Not just preparation and cleanup time - shopping + checkout too. If I pick up a breakfast item from a drive thru, I'm already out and about in my car anyway; usually going to work.

Even if the home-made ones were $0.25 each, I probably still wouldn't do it.

Those of us who live in the 21st century have things called refrigerators. There's nothing there that won't last 2 weeks. And some of us have company for breakfast, so you might need to cook <gasp!!!!> 2 at a time. You seriously think that list of ingredients will go bad inside 3 meals? It can last 3 meals if you only use it on Sundays. Find a slightly more rational argument and get back to me.

You would if you know what's good. Skip the muffins though, carbs are bad.

I can accept a whole pound of bacon for 6 egg sandwiches. That's the whole reason to make egg McMuffins at home, you can control the bacon content. But an entire pound of butter is overkill.

You keep your English Muffins in the fridge? Weird.

So, I have to force someone else to eat what I decide to eat and I have to have a future meal dictated by the leftovers.

No thanks.

Something tells me that the image is appealing to individuals who might/would otherwise choose fast food, not "2 at a time" couples. When you can come up with a slightly more rational argument, STFU.

Why would anyone who doesn't have ciliac disease care about gluten? Also, organic bacon? People are really stupid.

I agree. Gluten free is pointless for most people, and most "organic" food is just overpriced crap.

I think they were aiming for "healthy isn't expensive as people often claim" as the main point.

Of course they aren't factoring in the convenience premium McDonald's charges. But I like think it cancels out with having to put on pants, get in the car and drive somewhere, then deal with some teenage moron through a drive through speaker.

Me and the wife used to make badass breakfast bagels in the morning, with nothing more than a toaster and a single egg frying pan like this one:

Drop a bagel in the toaster, fry up an egg. When the egg is done, slap it on one side of the bagel, slap a slice of cheese on top, while it's melting on the hot egg, throw your ham slice in the still warm pan for like 20 seconds to get warm. Assemble sammich. Eat that shiz while the cheese is still oozing. It's only slightly more work if you want bacon instead of ham.

The cleanup is like 3 seconds on a non stick pan.

To be honest we made sammiches that were better than the over processed crap you get at McD's anyways. Probably healthier and less likely to have boogers from some nasty kid in them

Most people have places to go on an almost daily basis and don't have to put on their pants to swing by on their way somewhere.

As long as you're in my house you'll do what I do and believe what I believe.

Love the donald duck helmets. I was trying to figure out what they looked like and that really is it. So many good points in that montage.

I guess with the demise of the record player, they don't do that anymore. I bet the youth of today would be gob smacked to learn one could cut a record on a cereal box.

First sound I ever heard out of my Atari was the Star Wars theme from Empire Strikes Back. It took me a little fiddling to get video working. Never did figure out what you were supposed to do to those AT-ATs.
