Most of the ingredients will go bad before I finish using all of it.
Anyway, it's just a few dollars difference. I'd have dirty dishes and a whole lot of wasted time.
Not just preparation and cleanup time - shopping + checkout too. If I pick up a breakfast item from a drive thru, I'm already out and about in my car anyway; usually going to work.
Even if the home-made ones were $0.25 each, I probably still wouldn't do it.
Those of us who live in the 21st century have things called refrigerators. There's nothing there that won't last 2 weeks. And some of us have company for breakfast, so you might need to cook <gasp!!!!> 2 at a time. You seriously think that list of ingredients will go bad inside 3 meals? It can last 3 meals if you only use it on Sundays. Find a slightly more rational argument and get back to me.
You would if you know what's good. Skip the muffins though, carbs are bad.
I can accept a whole pound of bacon for 6 egg sandwiches. That's the whole reason to make egg McMuffins at home, you can control the bacon content. But an entire pound of butter is overkill.
