We made up these standards, humans of any group are not any different from how they were 100 or 1000 years ago. If anything, they are living longer and in MUCH better conditions. Whereas these viruses are different, they have mutated and evolved to adapt to their surroundings and to counter their enemies. New species are found every year and the older ones get stronger every year. Those facts are concerning and news worthy.
Might need some work figuring out that center of gravity.
Oh, crap. I didn't notice that. He hits the last car before the ramp. I had no idea what you were talking about. The only reason I saw it this time is that it happened to freeze at that exact frame when I was scrolling by.Could have worked had he had more power. Wasn't setup with strong chances of success in any case.

I hate to further drag the thread OT, but... those are not made up standards.
Heart disease is natural, it's why even animals get it. Life is not a perfect science, organs and other things fail, these things just happen, and it is often a genetic trait. Lifestyle can make things worse or introduce diseases to people who were not genetically predisposed, but it is still a talking point that goes beyond made up standards. That's the most laughable thing I have seen.
But yes, the comparison about babies is something different. Babies can be predisposed to heart disease, and a host of other things, but it won't impact their quality of life from the moment they are born. They may have other abnormalities, like a hole in the heart or some other defect that very well can impact their quality of life, or at least how rich a life they can achieve, but these are things that are genetic abnormalities, a flaw in the DNA or introduced during DNA transcription.
But these are all different than a virus that has a terribly high chance of introducing the same exact and terrifying health abnormality in the fetus of those who are pregnant when the disease is contracted. Zika takes the cake, because it's not just introducing a chance of something going wrong, but a very high chance of a very significant and specific thing going wrong, guaranteed to impact the quality of life for not only the offspring, but the entire family.
Which is a shame, cause it really was a stellar attempt. It was perfect right up to the end. Just a little more effort and it would have been an epic family story. Also, there's was painfully little engineering on the ramps, particularly the landing ramp. The end result was pretty much guaranteed.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but damn that's some funny shit! Sadly, the dude had to have been hurt at least a little, but perhaps if he's in a wheelchair for other reasons he didn't feel it!
I was going to say it was a dummy strapped to the cart, but with the hand movement at the very end, yup, still a dummy
But then, I once watched a video of a guy pruning a hedge by swinging a chainsaw over his head by its cable.
That looks like a cross between a calico and a Maine my excellent compatriot, just like one my now deceased cats. She was very smart and amazingly good at playing dumb.
You mean like pretending it didn't see the treat so you'll put more treats there? That's what my Manx does. That looks like a cross between a calico and a Maine my excellent compatriot, just like one my now deceased cats. She was very smart and amazingly good at playing dumb.
No, she wasn't quite that slick. She'd pretend she didn't see me or hear me, depending on circumstance, at least until she wanted to. And she could learn not to do certain things very quickly, assuming she didn't have any objections. So she wouldn't come into my bedroom unless I invited her. I guess she figured that was my territory. But she loved to annoy me by sitting on the couch next me but on top of my mouse pad. Of I didn't really object to that and we would usually engage in a pushing contest. Sometimes she won, sometimes I did.You mean like pretending it didn't see the treat so you'll put more treats there? That's what my Manx does.
