I'm guessing it was a bad day for the driver - whether he survived or not.I hope everyone survived that one.
I hope everyone survived that one.
Yeah, by "everyone" you mean passengers I take it. I don't see how the driver (and probably the 2-3 rows right behind him) could survive that kind of crash, which judging by the extent of the damage probably happened at a fair clip.
Last time I heard about this bridge in Westwood it was a in the Ryder truck hauling a lot of live lobsters. That was one expensive lobster cook out! I can't believe they haven't done anything about this yet, clearly the signs aren't working - or did they give the job to the same idiots and mob cronies that did the tunnel?
I hope everyone survived that one.
On Monday, 15 passengers had a miraculous escape from a Ballarat coach after the driver failed to notice the warning signage before the bridge.
It resulted in the roof of the vehicle being sliced off and emergency services worked for just under an hour to free the trapped passengers inside.
The driver was loaded into an ambulance, crying, with his hands over his mouth and police have launched an investigation into how he managed
to ignore warning signs and lights as there is no indication at this stage if he braked before the collision.
