Well, intestines and colon more than stomach. (They actually do most of the work.) Bowels = intestines.

Not always. Incredibly greasy food, when your stomach is not used to it, can cause gastrointestinal distress. It's unlikely IBS for the vast majority who experience these fleeting disturbances.

Much the same way as eating any fat-rich and hearty item, after being in starving mode for so long, can cause the same issue.

For most individuals, who aren't gorging themselves on a particular food item or category often, when they are exposed to a large quantity of it, the body doesn't quite know what to do. Contrary to popular belief, are guts are touchy beasts, a generally consistent diet is what it expects. Most animals are actually like this - hell, just suddenly switch up a dog food for most dogs and it's going to be messy, you have to ease into the dietary change.

Same issue exists in reverse, kind of. Major dietary changes can not only cause diarrhea but can also cause constipation.

Ibs is felt to be a Increase or decrease in the nerve response to food. Crohn’s dz is an autoimmune disorder due to antibodies attacking the gut and other organs. Ibs can be either diarrhea or constipation.
