so a new house cost 3x your average annual income. I guess that's still true in some parts of the country...
There used to be a time when 10 year mortgages were the norm. Now its closer to 30 years I think.
And a LOT more middle class people renting because they cant get loans for million dollar McMansions and townhomes.
