It's all microwaves. We know what it does to popcorn.
Most companies use HR software to filter out undesirable candidates, black people, etc. Paying a person to read hundreds of resumes full of lies wouldn't be cost effective. Meanwhile, the process of filling out the application itself is a hurdle that prevents the techno-illiterate, actually-illiterate, and unmotivated from applying to the jobs in the first place.
Honestly they probably only ask for resumes so that the HR software can analyze it for writing level. So many people lie in the darn things that they're basically useless.

I spent 4 years in las cruces... there's no road to rage in... I mean, there's that one stop light, but its only slow because people are too polite to honk and remind someone to take the green arrow.

But knowing something & discerning between some things are 2 different ideas. Neither of them are smart!
