Ok, I just saw this pic of a wolf spider carrying her young.
Yikes.

You want one more horror story.

During Hurricane Harvey last year we got about 50 inches of rain. Every night it would rain at rates upto 7+ inches an hour.

While my lawn did drain the rain was so heavy the yard and patio had at least an inch or two of water continuously on it. The only place along the back of the house that wasn’t under water or in the down pour was the space between our storm door and backdoor.

So that’s where the the wolf spiders living in the backyard went. Every time I opened the damn door 5-10 would try to run inside.

I eventually sprayed the space with bug killer. By the time storm ended 4 days later I had a layer of dead wolf spiders there.

I seem to remember people were actually happy though as the spiders apparently helped keep the mosquitos in check.

You know what, say what you want, but getting paid to run around and kick a ball and then have a guy blow super chilled air on your sweaty bare ass halfway through sounds pretty amazing. I'd probably even make the same face. Hell, I might would even be ok being the one blow super chilled air on the guy's bare ass depending on how well it paid.
