I seriously doubt someone's going through and re-tabbing all the bread bags each day that they shift from one tab color to another.True?
Probably true. The baker may use a different colored tag each day. One would have to check the tag colors against the printed expiration dates to confirm.True?
I don't know since I CANT READ FUCKING SIZE 6 FONT ON A 200x100 IMAGE.True?
That you, Shorty?I don't know since I CANT READ FUCKING SIZE 6 FONT ON A 200x100 IMAGE.
True?
It is true. I worked at a grocery store called HEB in Texas, the bread ties had different colors. There was a cheat sheet for us to use that was taped to the back wall where the bread was stocked on the shelves.
It also helps the employees rotate the bread properly, so any 1 day old bread would rotated to the front. Trucks came in daily with fresh bread.
Been common knowledge for many many years. I just can't remember which color/day.True?
From what I've heard it's true in regards to determining what DATE the bread originally arrived, but I sure will never memorize the dates in conjunction with colors. Simply not worth the effort especially when the expiration date is listed on the bag.True?
Which is why anyone with half a brain always picks the loaf that is towards the back... same with milk.It is true. Very useful to remember.

We learned this way back when Poltergeist came out.
