We've already covered this multiple times elsewhere. This instance might be just that, but you acting like it hasn't also been used deliberately as a "troll" "joke" by white supremacists is 100% false, as has been repeatedly shown to you.
We also know that white supremacists have been seeding their shit in memes because they knew morons like you would defend them relentlessly (they've openly gloated about exactly that), which was their goal. They get to spread their rhetoric/ideology, and then have idiots like you claiming they aren't and defending them.
The silliest part is that you seriously are trying to argue that a board where they regularly trash people specifically over race and sexuality (in other words they act exactly like actual white supremacists) is totally fine and not at all the same thing (because I guess doing the actual same thing is somehow ok as long as you "do it for lulz"). The only outrage I have is that morons like you are buying it and spreading it yourself and then claiming that there isn't a white supremacist problem happening. Much like no doubt you probably would've been saying the same thing even after the OKC bombing. And you would've been the German townsfolk claiming you had no idea the concentration camp right next door was murdering people by the tens of thousands and acting like the Nazis super weren't white supremacists.
I thought it was interesting with all the look here follow this. I assumed it was referencing that circle game I seem to remember from middle school that someonesmind pointed out.
Hasn’t realized the white supremacists has co-opt it.
Could be that too
I wasn't claiming you were spreading it intentionally. It
possible almost certainly is just "the circle game" (which apparently is a thing that guys elsewhere have done such that some people recognize it for that, which raises questions of its own) being done there. The (especially upside down) ok has absolutely been used as a "trolling" joke by actual white supremacists though. And there's even some evidence that it actually predated the 4Chan shit (but I don't care to try and chase down the evidence for that; there's news reports about one of the new White House hires that had been doing the normal OK as a symbol of "white power" and doing other things to seed white supremacist shit like some of their numbers and other crap) but it doesn't really matter as it 100% has been used by actual white supremacists as a dog whistle (and then later attempt to troll).
White supramcists didn't co-opt it. 4chan trolled people into believing that simple hand gestures that any normal person uses is now a racist symbol. There is a reason why they didn't choose some complex gang-like hand symbols. Note how these are all hand-signs that any normal person has used at some point in their life.
The point was to get stupid people to believe anything. And boy oh boy did it work wonders.
Yes they did. That's never been disputed, but you've been dumb and refused to realize that's not even what is being discussed.
And of course you just keep posting the same pic from 4Chan (which again, has never been in dispute that 4Chan did that, no clue why you keep acting like that's the case). Also, you do know the white supremacist version is doing it upside down, right? (At least since the 4Chan thing they largely started doing upside down ones, to make sure that people knew it wasn't even an ok sign and make it clear they were intentionally flashing it - doesn't matter if it was done as a joke like the one woman in the Kavanaugh hearing, they are knowing that there's a white supremacist link and that's why they're doing it; that was not at all what 4Chan was doing, wherein they were trying to make up a link when there absolutely wasn't one in the stuff they were claiming had it.)
Your 4Chan thing is them just trying to spread claims that other people flashing the normal ok and peace signs in the pics they'd put on social media was white supremacist, which is not the same thing other people are talking about. We're talking about people who have actual ties to white supremacist groups doing the upside down ok when on camera (its happened in videos too) that happened after 4Chan's thing flopped (which it did, no one bought on that part of it - at least they knew the difference between what 4Chan had tried and what else was going on with that, but they did pick up when people who have been linked to white supremacists started doing the upside down OK sign; I think there's actually articles linking the OK with the "white power" connotation before that 4Chan link too by the way so even your claim that it all originated with 4Chan very likely isn't true - although them spreading it on social media definitely made it into a bigger thing than it had been; this stuff has been talking about for some time and you really are ignorant of what all has taken place with regards to white supremacist dog whistle stuff). Its like you haven't bothered to pay
any attention to the discussion about this stuff because you watched some dipshit on YouTube inform you of the breaking news of the day (which apparently includes moronic claims about Islamic terrorists planting bombs at EuroDisney, and some game streaming girl pouring water down her ass crack and selling it to idiots). To be fair, not understanding the discussion and then applying your often ridiculously low knowledge on the subject is just how you operate on every topic in general.
They did also us the normal ok as "white power" but after the 4Chan stuff most of the ones started doing it upside down to make sure that people wouldn't confuse it with the ok sign, they were deliberately wanting to make sure people would make a white supremacist connection. Then they got mad when people made that connection. Kinda like how 4Chan has made a lot of white supremacist shit, yet here your are trying to defend it as not having anything to do with white supremacy. I'm guessing because you're a 4Channer (must've been there for the child porn?) and mad that 4Chan is associated with white supremacist shit. Gee, I wonder how that happened, I'm sure it had nothing to do with them intentionally linking themselves to it. Which that's always been the dumbest part of the whole thing is you think that image completely clears any white supremacist connotation, when it just shows that 4Chan has been used to seed that shit and that even in the best case scenario, its still linked to white supremacists (as that was the intention of 4Chan; then white supremacists were pleased by that and ran with it themselves).
It is interesting that you act like there aren't actual white supremacists on 4Chan. They can be both 4Chan trolls and actual white supremacists, just like there were 4Chan trolls that were also actual pedophiles (still are even, but most of them likely jumped to 8Chan when 4Chan started clamping down, and then I think many of them moved on from 8Chan when they started clamping down). You are aware that white supremacists have intentionally tried seeding their shit in pop culture stuff, right? They did this before the internet even, but definitely before social media and memes were major parts of pop culture, and you've definitely been aware that its happened since. Or are you still claiming that the white supremacist pepe memes were only "just 4Chan" wherein we go back to you pretending that there aren't white supremacists on 4Chan, while you ignore proof that people on Stormfront and similar white supremacist groups were also actively doing similar? Just like you've ignored that actual white supremacists started doing the upside down OK. Which is the thing people are making a fuss about because they were aware of the 4Chan shit and how it was not the same thing.
And that is the issue, you ignoring that white supremacists also intentionally started doing that at the same time (or even if it was after and because of 4Chan). This has been repeatedly shown to you and you keep just screaming that it has nothing to do with white supremacy (which is probably the weirdest part of your argument, since even 4Chan
intentionally made it about white supremacy for shock value; it wouldn't have had nearly the same if they'd said it was the Girl Scouts secret symbol).
I take it back, the funniest part is apparently some of you played a game where you'd flash that symbol trying to make another guy look at your dick so you could then punch them. Was this before or after you "just hazed" them by jamming things up their ass? And then probably sucked their dick while laughing and claiming that see now they're totally gay! And then you probably went and raped some girl after drugging her to prove how super totally not gay you were. After all, that type of stuff used to be "just joking" too, apparently based on how many people like you constantly try to defend behaviors like that as "boys being boys" or some other nonsense.
