yeah, bear and cubs, you better run. That 17 year old girl is lucky as hell to catch that wee black bear mommie (all CA "brown bears" are actually black bears, so you know...).
A Goose on land...not too big of a deal. A goose in the water, though, you dead.
Actually if you were to read the article @ the link I posted above titled "Facts about Bears" then report back? (hint: that's true of certain types of bears)
Having said all of that, nobody needs to tell me to stay
far away from any and all wild animals.... helps avoid painful mishaps. (even a squirrel can cause profuse bleeding!)
And far as an actual physical tangle, you or I can most likely fend off even a large goose on land IF we saw it coming. If not though, a grown man can
easily be injured or KO'ed by a wing-blow to the head or neck. (Swans can kill doing the same thing)
Even a small bear could POTENTIALLY gut a grown man like a fish with its massive front claws but the thing is that given a chance 999 times out of 1000 a black bear (even one with cubs) will head for the hills instead of attacking.
Not a pissed-off goose though .... you're in for a severe pinching at the least if it gets you! (and those fvckers can move!)
