I've seen quite a few of the vids the channel has.. which is why I pointed out you saying "the drinker is not happy" doesn't really mean much as that's the whole shtick.
I still can't decide what I think of that guy. His stuff is entertaining, I give him that. But he _is_ deeply conservative and I think I disagree with where he's fundamentally coming from (as if the original Star Trek or Star Wars constitute some sort of 'great art' that must never be sullied by any socio-political influences...not fond of his habit of refering to any non-white person as "diverse", either...too much like the casual racist tendency to talk about "ethnic" as if it were exclusively a trait of individuals who aren't white).
Yet he makes some valid points along the way. In particular I think he has a legit point about the loss of dramatic tension caused by modern PC film-makers' reluctance to ever show female protagonists being anything other than super-competent winners.
I feel he stole his "go away now" sign-off line from Charlie Brooker, though. Unless he was doing it first?
Never heard of "Cowboy Bebop" other than encountering it being mentioned on TV Tropes.
