Story time.
Worked at Walmart many moons ago. We used to have these cheap shit Chinese pool tables around summer time, sold like hotcakes. I worked afternoon/evening shift in sporting goods. Guy comes in around 9pm, says he put in an order in the morning, asked the guy to 'hold it for him', whatever. None on the floor, let him know we can't really get them out of the mystical back because they're unloading trucks and there's 10 billion pallets full of pickles and shit everywhere. Guy loses his marbles, asks to talk to regional manager, whole 9 yards. Call over bossman, he talks to next bossman, talks to back-room bossman, stops all fucking work on the trucks, pulls like two dozen pallets out so they can get a pallet lift to get a goddamn pool table from 30 feet up for this fucking donkey, T+2 hours since arrival. They ask him to pull around back, they'll just drop the shit in from there. 10 minutes later, he comes around in.. get this... a goddamned PT cruiser. A PT CRUISER, TO GET A 10' POOL TABLE. Realizing he's a fucking idiot, he says he'll be back tomorrow with a truck.
Fuck I hated that job, and I hate people just a little bit more.
