And you will be known as lord of the flies.
99% of "scary" (lol yeah right) movies either bore me to tears OR become unintentional comedy.
"The Descent" OTOH is not one of the above IMO and is a seriously disturbing movie that goes way beyond "jump-scares"
I tend to prefer psychological horror movies. Not really scary but more creepy.Today's viewers probably don't have the patience of the slow burn of Alien.
The zombie genre is typically jump scare stuff, I'm trying to think of movies that were scary to me recently. I know "It Follows" I enjoyed, but can't recall just how scary it was.
Is NOPE a horror movie? Haven't seen that one yet. Get out had some very tense moments in it for sure. I guess you need to find what really creeps out your kid, obviously jump scares don't cut it.I spoke with a couple I know earlier today, they're quite the pair of movie nuts. Told them the plan with The Descent, the immediate reaction I got was "Yeah don't do that. Do not do that."
Hahaha, now I'm genuinely curious to see what all the fuss is about.
Starting him out light, first it's NOPE.
