I recommend it. In addition to it helping you not drown should you find yourself in the water, it's one of the better no impact exercises you can do. Always gives me a charge when I'm done. It's better than caffeine and makes me sleep like a baby.

Public pools and hot tubs though? Avoid those like the plague. Even without kids and sick people involved, it's still a piss cocktail you're marinating in.

i inspected the nacelle assemblies for Gulfstream GIV and Fokker 100, they both used the Rolls Royce Tay.
It was the big 3 pieces, the one against the fuselage, the two opening doors, the 5 latches. I inspected all that and how it fit on a jig.
We built them from the prepreg up at Hexcel Kent.

We had a Doberman/Shepherd cross named Karl who was so incredibly fast that he left 3 skunks as presents on our back porch. I would open the door to a dead skunk and think the worst, but there was not that much odor. The dogs were clean. The poor skunks always had the same look.
Completely intact but for usually one eye pointed off in a different direction and some massive canine skull punctures. Karl was death on soft feet.
His littermate Hans was big and clunky and 50% heavier than Karl, and oh so slow. Karl would lead him into collisions with inanimate objects like trees or the car fender, and then dance away laughing upward.
I'm pretty sure that Karl killed the skunks in a solo operation, because Hans would have gotten his ass sprayed.
