It says a lot that it damn near knocked him on his ass, and he's not particularly small. Would have been a bad day for someone if he was slower.

If the batboy wasn't there to catch it, and Ohtani had stood where he was, it might've just hit the back of the dugout. But it kind of looked like Ohtani was ducking to the left, and it might've been right into the path of that line drive. Batboy might've saved their big star's face/head there.
