Makes perfect sense. The second guy is crouched down at the front of the car. If the girl just leaves the sticker/paper on her passenger side window and drives off without getting out to remove it then the guy crouched in front of the car gets hit by the moving vehicle.

Pretty damn simple.

So I believe it may be you who need to be asked if you are tired, drunk or just plain not very bright.

He's obviously under the assumption that the person was crouched in front of the car all along, even though he wasn't. He probably came from the other car and that car has a get-away driver too. You can tell that someone else is in it (look at the door just as it ends).

Kind of a variation of a well known trick used by car thieves. The other variation is where they will stick a plastic bottle or something under the tire. The person runs over it, gets out of car to check and the thief jumps in and takes off. PSA never leave your car with the keys in the ignition, even if you only think you will be out of the car for a second or two, that is all it takes.

You're seeing the accomplice guy who is then way in the distance... there's nobody in the car in front of this one. Being crouched in front of the target car is the obvious way to do this. There's no time to get out of the car ahead, close the door, and into this one that quickly. And umm... that would leave the victim with a license plate to report...
