Minor in Consumption? (A ticket you get if you're under 21 and drinking.)im old.
whats M.I.C?
How is that legal? Legal restrictions are traditionally supposed to prevent sales to minors while still allowing adults to give their kids alcohol legally (totally OK). The logic wasn't that "alcohol is bad for kids" because, well, so is junk food. The logic was that alcohol is addictive and kids are incapable of adult reasoning in their decision to partake, while an adult providing it to a child does not lack this reasoning and can control consumption so long as sales to minors are constrained.Minor in Consumption? Some places it's MIP - minor in possession.

There are many cultures and religions that accept minors drinking. Ours somehow latched on to the legal sales restriction as if there was something wrong with giving your kids alcohol. It always gets on my nerves when I hear an ignorant parent saying something like "Not until you're 21!"
Note: I have never had a sip of anything alcoholic and never intend to.
I don't get it... it should not play because of copyright, but is still does, is that it?

Flour. I love flour.
Well, going with the reasoning that it is illegal for minors to consume without parental consent (not even sure if that is legal in all 50 states), it would be illegal to be drunk in public without a parent/guardian nearby.
Also, public drunkenness is a ticketable offense regardless of age. It may not be named differently based on the age?
I don't see any argument successfully demonstrating that it is illegal to give a minor a ticket like that (note: I've never heard of it, perhaps it is not in the Ohio law books).
I do agree that minors SHOULD be able to drink, but it would be a very very rough period as our youth got used to the concept. It would take a generation or so for it things to calm down if we ever lowered the age. Which, again, I still think we should absolutely, at least down to 19 at minimum. It is ridiculous that people have to wait until they are 21. We are such a prude society though, I don't know if it'll ever change.
