Competition is good. Bring it on!

Would be a lot better if Jet offered a non-membership model.
But yes, competition is good.
When a Jet customer buys items that aren’t in its inventory or available from partner merchants, a Jet employee buys the items from another website and has them shipped directly to the customer. That is expensive for Jet because the company often pays high shipping costs plus any difference between its advertised price and the amount charged by the outside website.
Sorry - is Amazon expensive, or ripping people off?
I am not saying no to competition, but what is Amazon doing wrong, that Jet is doing right and force Amazon to correct itself??

I wonder what their average customer acquisition cost is.
If you live alone there probably is not. Having a family, I see value.Meh, competition and all that jazz, but I haven't gotten used to getting groceries online. What's the point unless the price is lower? Sometime it might be, but the majority of it isn't due to shipping/overhead (inb4 FREE SHIPPING!!!)
So I can order TP and paper towels and laundry detergent online. So what? I still can't buy fresh produce. Or meat. Or anything that goes with normal day to day cooking. So fuck it. I don't see the point.
more competition is better for us!
Be interested to see what every day prices disguised as black friday deals they have
You entire state has about 3 times the population of Orlando. Hence, your state IS boring. Make no mistake about it. :biggrin:Some of you need to get the fack out of Cali and NY. You hate pretty much everything about them, yet continue to live in those overrated expensive crowded places.
I guess maybe that's why I don't see some of the value in things (such as Amazon) that others do. Where I live is cheap, quiet, not crowded, I can still go to a movie theater and enjoy it. The downside? There isn't 24/7 in my face external entertainment at my fingertips around the corner. I have to actually entertain myself on occasion. Another words, most people would consider where I live boring.

It's called business. Someone develops something and it dominates. Someone develops something to directly compete with that dominator.... If they do a good job then amazon falters. If you haven't noticed Amazon's sales have been slumping.

That is not a bad thing, but you have made no cogent argument of what that has to do with the topic.
