I would love this opportunity! I already know the basics. LOL I can program a Honeywell (can't remember the specific model off hand) 737NG FMC with SIDS & STARS, program a holding pattern, intersect a radial from a VOR, etc. I can read aeronautical charts. I know basic weather concepts. Basically I'm what you call a
real as it gets Flight Simulator pilot. I just don't jump in my
PMDG 737NG and take off. I have EVERYTHING! And do everything. I even have flight attendant and pilot announcements for all stages of flight. From push back, to take off and landing.
And since I use REX in FS that downloads real life weather conditions I look at the NOAA weather data and plan my cruising altitude.
Even flown in VATSIM.
So to summarize. If a few Jihadies can fly a plane, I could do it. Would love to test my skills in a real life 737NG simulator. A CATIII landing would be awesome. Love doing those! But I'm sure real life is a lot different. Gotta pretty much have absolute faith in your instruments.
Now someone mentioned F-16 certification? Since being in FS I'm self-certified in the F-22, Boeing 737NG, Beechcraft B1900D/C, Challenger, Lear 45. Sikorsky UH-60, SR-71. U2, King Air, Cessna Caravan Amphibian, Cessna 172, and the list goes on. I'm like a FS aircraft repo guy. LOL
My favs are the Raptor F-22, Lear 45, 737NG and B1900D. A littel personal Beechcraft action.

In case anyone is curious about VATSIM. It's like ATC multiplayer.
