Jets v Ravens 8-24

Anyone else watching this game? I imagine by the end of their next series they'll probably start taking out the starters, but damn this is one hell of a quality game for preseason.

Field time and opponent have nothing to do with it.

It's not like he's not bad because he's inexperienced. It's still a bad performance. I'm not saying he's to blame, because he's likely scared shitless. God knows I would be. But NYJ isn't putting anything together outside the run game, and Sanchez looks like a 3rd stringer.

Webb and Kruger looked great for the Ravens. Great picks by Oz. I wouldn't worry about Sanchez just yet. Flacco looked pretty bad last pre-season and look how he turned it on in the regular season.

but the ravens has the D to back up Flacco, and jets D is not that good, since they have to face the patriots, bills, and dolphins twices.

the jets actually have a pretty solid defense, the problem is their offensive line.

The Jets offensive line is NOT terrible... I'd argue it one of the better units in the league.

A rookie QB and lack of a pass catching threat outside of Cotchery (and to a smaller extent, Keller) is the Jets biggest problem on offense.

The Jets D has a TON of potential, but It'll live and die on the health of Kris Jenkins... who didn't play last night.

I truly believe (as a die hard Jets fan) that this team is on the rise. The management has been very aggressive filling holes. If they can get some weapons for Sanchez and keep building the D for Rex Ryan, they'll be solid...
