I wasn't sure what to say, as most of the people here has already said it. As you have read from many people here, your dad was respected on many levels here. He was a level headed, and carried on various different discussion calmly and respectfully. That shows that he was even a better person away from here, because normally the worse side comes out on boards such as this. If he was this gracious and calm here, he had to be even more so in person, and many of us wish we had the chance to actually be around him in person.
The fact that you had the thoughtfulness and the compassion to come and let all of us know that he passed away, tells us that your dad lives in you. You will carry his legacy on. Your dad was a good man, and he raised another good man. Thank You!
I know that doesn't take away the pain of your loss, and I am so sorry for that. I just hope that you can find some comfort knowing that he lives in you and you are his legacy.
