Um, no.
Morrissey stops moping and trying to look pretty long enough to play a guitar? I never knew.Originally posted by: JLGatsby

Go watch that DVD at your local library, "The search for Robert Johnson " by John Hammond, ISBN 0738900796.
He interviews a bunch of the original blues men in Mississippi and one comments that Jimmy Page had been there (again) the week before, traveling all around the Mississippi delta (again) looking for original blues music he could steal (again).
Are you in the United States?
Don't you know your own heritage?
Do you imagine that stuff LZ plays is the work of Jimmy Page & LZ? Wrong.
Don't you know Jimmy Page & Led Zep (whom I saw in live concert 4 times) outright stole most of their stuff, & got filthy rich selling the original creative works of poor Mississippi blues musicians right back to American kids? Of course LZ never gave a penny to the poor Black Americans whose work they stole & made a fortune off.
Yeah JP plays fast riffs, but he's a true scumbag jackass thief. Whatta jerk, ought to be jailed, money stripped away & distributed to the estates of the American Black men he stole from again & again. The money's not his, it belongs to them. Bastard.
Jimmy Page =

Has everything to do with it. They & their estates didn't get much legal advocacy by the white world. They got ripped off blind, thieves like Jimmy Page stole the creative output of their lives, lied that it was his own, and took all the money.

"OMG...The Lemon Song, just wow. " = Stolen outright from American Sonny Boy Williamson, with guitar riffs stolen from others too.
"I Can't Quit You Baby" stolen outright from Willie Dixon.
"When the Levee Breaks" stolen outright from Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie.
"Dazed and Confused" stolen outright from Jake Holmes.
"Whole Lotta Love" stolen outright from Willie Dixon ("You Need Love")
But I tire of reciting more & more of the very long list of Jimmy Page's thefts from Americans, which includes practically all of LZ's recordings.
At least when a group like Cream covered Spoonful (Willie Dixon) or Crossroads (Robert Johnson) they credit their sources. J. Page falsly claims authorship credit for what he stole. Of course, he keeps all the money that rightfully should be paid to the estates of the creative authors whom Page never credits.
You do what he did & have an injunction against you & go to jail & be stripped of your plagarizism profits, big time. J. Page got away with it.
DOn't you know your own American heritage of the BLUES? Dockery Farm! (<=Google is your friend) Those Brits stole it & sold it back to you, laughing to the bank..

Sorry to break the news, but LZ's members (JPJ, JP, and RP) suck without John Bonham. They didn't do crap before they hooked up with him, they were brilliant when they worked with him, and they haven't done crap since he died.
