It runs. Not very well, but I have to calibrate the TPS and check/adjust timing in the ECU, then we'll see how it goes.

The interior is almost all reassembled - just have one trim piece left to go. The door sill is in (with all the clips!), I have an unbroken steering clamshell, the kick panels are all in....first time the interior has been this together in a long time.

With the help from Scott over at ATS, I got TPS calibrated, added a bunch of fuel, and got it running well enough to hold an idle. That's a start!

I'm getting an intermittent CEL, which might be over-sensitive wideband error reporting. It was corrected in the newest version of the firmware, which Scott's going to send tomorrow.

They also do remote tuning. Stuff's gonna get done.

Yeah, I've been a bit busy too. Lots of stuff to do around here.

At least your making progress! Issues like this to me are worse than say losing a axle on a hard launch because damn it at least you know what it is

I'd wait days or weeks to get a response from DIY Auto Tune when I was trying to troubleshoot the Megasquirt (and six weeks for me to get the loaner ECU).

Yesterday I decided to take a look at the ECU Master and I hit up ATS's tuner on facebook. He responded almost immediately (substantially outside of business hours) and walked me through getting the car running. Their support is outstanding, and I have no doubts it'll get resolved. If it takes a while, it'll be due to delays on my part, not a lack of support.

Base timing is dialed in. It's $500 for a remote tune from ATS, plus dyno rental. That's just for one tune...if I go flexfuel, it'll go way up.

I think I'll go with an E85 tune for now, then once the auto tune software comes out I can do a basic 15psi 91 octane tune myself.

Wait what is this "autotune" of which you speak? They leave your parameters open? Is the ATS tuning out of S.C.?

ATS Racing out of Texas. TunerStudio is the software for Megasquirt tuning, and it has an automatic tuning feature (adjusts the VE table to get the wideband input to match up with the target AFR table). The ECU Master software doesn't yet have this functionality, but it is rumored to be on the way.

Then you need to get some go-pro video. Produce it a little. Some different angles. Drifting shots. Launches, etc. Show off. Dont put stupid rap music over it though. Your car makes enough music.

Yeah, like a video of it chasing a Cobra.

My wastegate dump tube keeps working loose - tightened it again. Swapped distributor last night (still getting some ignition/tach hiccups - only thing left to replace is igniter and wiring harness). Replaced two bolts in my front motor mount (one was gone and one was loose). Should be good to go for the dyno tomorrow - I do need a new exhaust, but that'll have to wait.

Edit: It's at the tuner's! Shooting for 24psi (closed loop boost control) and 7800rpm. :awe:

Edit2: Done! Ran out of fuel pump at 21psi.

I bought a new-used speed sensor today - should be here soon. Hopefully this'll fix my non-working speedometer (the other possibility is the gear in the transmission failed, which would suck).

nice power figures man!

And yes, yes it would really suck if its the gear.
Hopefully just the sensor.
Your cluster is good for sure?
