i am at a convention and i guess she is here to participate. is she short? she was very short

she asks the lady at the dinner reservation desk behind me where to go for the whatever and says "i'm joan rivers and i am supposed to be doing the introduction"

would she be by herself? wouldn't she have an assistant or publicist/something with her?

i couldn't see her face very well. she looked like a normal lady of her age that looks like joan rivers
