So I like computers, and I feel that I'm fairly smart. So I figure that Electrical Computer Engineering is the way to go as it should have fairly good job security and availability. So to those in this field or similar, what kind of future job can I expect (besides McDonalds ). I was also thinking of being a CS major as I can program fairly well, but I don't feel that the job security is there.
My next question would be, would you have followed your current career path or would you have done something different?
I know this will sound a lot like bragging, but I am pretty smart. Things really do just fall into my lap where other people have to work like crazy to understand the same concepts, I feel like I could do any career, but would prefer to do something I'm interested in. So if you would choose a more difficult career or a different one, lay it on me, I'm always up for a challenge.
