Since it's for a manager position, I'd probably wear a suit and tie. Definitely at least wear a tie with your dress shirt.

Scope out the place and see what others are wearing and wear one level above that for an interview. Dress at least similar to what your interviewer will be wearing. I've interviewed a good many people and clothes rarely make a difference unless they are so awfully bad or out of place that it distracts from the interview.

Leave the assless chaps and sac-free underwear at home.

Since a facilities manager position sounds (to me) to be under the 'blue collar' category (not a knock at all), you're probably well served with slacks, white shirt, and a tie. Sport coat if you have a casual-ish one and the weather is at all cold. If not, forget it. And g'luck!

You generally want to dress one notch up from what you wear while at work.

The only time overdress is bad: You clothes is much much nicer than the clothes your future boss is wearing.
One old college friend of mine drive his MB S-class and wear his best suit for an interview of an entry level programmer job. The manager takes him to lunch and saw his ride. You know how it went...

The next time he borrow other people cars to go for interview.

LOL- I did this 10 years ago for a factory job. I showed up in a 3 piece suit with Don Johnson hair, and the guy that did the interview was a supervisor at the plant. He was nervous as hell talking to me ( ), and I ended up getting an unadvertised position as his boss. PWNED!
