Lasco Fittings, Inc. is looking for an experienced individual to join our company as a Network Support Specialist. Lasco Fittings is an industry leader in the plastic fittings industry, with the corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility located in Brownsville, TN (30 minutes from both Memphis and Jackson, TN on Interstate 40) and Service Center locations across the United States.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems related to a desktop environment. The position entails providing end user support for all LAN-based applications, including installing and configuring workstations and performing system upgrades. Periodic travel may be required.
Qualifications:
? 2-4 years experience in a technical support role
? Experience with Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista and supporting Microsoft Suite products
? Experience with MS-Exchange Server
? Strong organizational and customer service skills
? The ability to meet deadlines
? The ability to maintain IT standards, policies and procedures
? The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
? A Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
? MS-SQL 2005 experience a plus
? IBM iSeries-400 experience a plus
? MCP and A+ certification a plus
