It was a good springboard that got me into a higher pay bracket, and into a better position afterwards. For 1.5 years of my life it was a good tradeoff. Plus you tend to make good friends just like in any place where a group of people are put together in a bad situation... you tend to rely on each other for support.

Yeah, I worked in a moderate sized call center doing tech support for various consumer electronic devices. Made good friends and had good times, not all that bad. Sometimes you even get very interesting customers to talk to, as well. Four months ago if you'd posted this I would've been excited and would've moved to Ann Arbor in a heartbeat. But I've settled in Lansing.
