So it did trickle down, although I am sure it has more to do with liveable wage laws

Wait, so is it trickle down or livable wage laws? You seem to contradicting yourself.

Either way, what it shows is Democratic ideas/policies are certainly working better than Republican ones.

Quick, find another way to shit on positive news!

It's both. Take Seattle. You have Amazon pumping massive amounts of money into the local economy, which trickles down to your barristas and hotel staff and cab drivers, and which then allows local government to similarly engage. A rising tide raises all ships.

I am not sh!tting on positive news, I disagree with your assertion on the source of it.

What specific policies or ideas are Democrats introducing that are working better? Is it at the city, state or federal level?

No thanks, I'm not engaging in your buckshatting. Anyone asking that question after making your previous comment is obviously a troll.

Fuck off troll.

Top down class warfare looting sprees have long lasting consequences.

The looting had largely been accomplished prior to 2009 in the form of the Ownership Society flimflam. With the whole economy held hostage by the financial elite, we could either let 'em burn it all down or pay tribute, the latter being exactly what we're doing today.

Just say thanks to a Repub congress for holding the line on the terms of our surrender.

Dude, get over it. The economy still sucks and that democratic body your still leaching on is just as bad as anyone else.

Provide one decent idea that the democrats have, outside of taxation that will improve the economy. I'm specifically talking about a person that was elected as a democrat, and not some batshit crazy loon idea of yours.

lol zerohedge. That's basically Infowars for the financial crowd. Looks like they are once again at odds with the census. Don't be duped by unscrupulous sites.

Interesting news today, as senseamp just mentioned we just saw a 5.2% increase in median income in 2015, which is huge. The gains were also spread over all income group and all racial/ethnic groups. I'm sure the standard people will come and chime in about how everything is still terrible, but this is unambiguously excellent economic news.

How much paper was printed to get that percentage. TIP: inflation is sky high

Tip: inflation is low, in fact it is lower than the fed's target. Are you an inflation truther or something?

Also this increase was in real income, which already factors in inflation.

Well, we've already established that you have no idea what you are talking about but I'm still curious as to what indicators you use to measure how well the economy is doing?

IOW you're saying that having a strong local economy at the upper ends is basically a prerequisite for supporting "living wage" laws. Which is not only intuitively obvious, but also the reason why a national minimum wage law is a terrible idea. Any one-size fits all policy that dictates the wage floor for a nation of 300+MM people and with a huge assortment of local microeconomies with completely different employment dynamics is a stupid idea. If Seattle thinks they can support a $15/hour minimum wage then great, if you attempt to impose the same in some backwater town in Mississippi or Alaska all you're going to get is a town with no jobs.

lol, Supply-side economics. "Intuitively obvious" in so much as it is only ever a disaster when applied in the real world. But, you know, any day now, any day. Those republicans are bound to be right! Just never mind how that money only ever concentrates in those "upper ends" when you just keep feeding it to them.

Go ahead and pass a $15 minimum wage law in somewhere like Detroit or Ferguson, MO without a high median income and see how it works. I'm sure you'll have created a workers paradise there in no time at all. Oh yes please give capital owners yet another reason to further reduce their demand for labor at the low end of the scale.
