Trump could still can him just to fuck him over. I don't think Biden would mind appointing a new FBI director but seem not super likely to fire him though.

Overall the picks seem to be overwhelmingly competent, experienced, and not dredged up from the bottom of the Black Lagoon.

And don't forget, America will be making history by having the first woman vice president. That alone is amazing and often overlooked with all the noise coming from Donald Trump.
