I don't think a thread has been started yet on Biden's pick for a running mate, so I'll start one because it's coming, it's coming.
But I started this thread to ask a question, what would be the repercussions should Joe picked a middle-aged or senior-aged white man for his VP?
Lets say, in playing what-if, lets say Joe picked Andrew Cuomo, or say Gavin Newsom? Lets pretend that Joe, when the announcement comes, would pick not a woman nor a black woman, but a white guy? Would Joe survive his own party? Could Joe survive the wrath from his own party? Would Joe survive? And, what would the women of the Black Lives Matter movement do? Or, what would the many women's groups out there do? Would they dump Joe? Would they castrate Joe politically? Physically? Would their disgust and anger at Joe hand Donald Trump the election? And, would any of the groups mentioned above really care if Joe was totally destroyed politically by those within his own party and thus handing the election to Donald Trump? How mean are democrats against one another? We hear this about republicans, how they eat their own, but I'm talking about the democrats now.

It seems to me that Joe's mind has already been made up, but not by Joe, instead by the democratic party itself. Talk about having your hands tied. Thats all. Carry on.
