Really great interview. They cover the idea of deplatforming and Silicon Valley becoming the moral police, legalization of drugs, government involvement, and the current politics.
What do you guys think about Shapiro? I haven’t listened to him much until a few months ago and I find myself agreeing with a lot of what he says. He’s labeled as the alt right (the idea of labeling is discussed a lot in this too) but he’s not and is against a lot of it. More than anything he comes across as honest about his opinions, he transcends tribalism and partisanship and calls issues based on his own thoughts rather than how it slots into left vs right.
These Rogan interviews are great as well, I haven’t watched any until the Twitter episode but it’s great. Good long honest discussions and he seems like a great mediator and interviewer. He just did one with Kevin Hart I want to watch later.
