I object that I, a lifelong local resident, am prohibited to go onto the main part of Santa Cruz Island (California's biggest island) while some drugged-out, mentally deficient megalomaniac from Kansas who DOESN'T PLAY that good (hey he ain't no Steve Stevens) gets to go there as he pleases, apparently CATERED TO THE MAX by the National Park Service. BOOOOOO.

From the tiny bit of Santa Cruz Island where I've surfed (yellow cliff 100+ times) and also walking on the east tip (Scorpion Ranch) I've experienced that it's a WONDERFUL pristine place ...forbidden!!!. Why does some bozo MEGALOMANIAC from Kansas like Joe Walsh get the keys to the good stuff (like the church in there, where I'd meditate on God but Joe Walsh did a splashy Youtube "hey look at me Me MEEEEE MEEEEEEE electric guitar ego trip?" I'm a local CONSTANT DONOR over a LONG TIME to the Nature Conservancy (always anonymously, humble me or stupid me? Answer=Stupid me!) get 100% ZERO ACCESS???

Go Joe! I saw him in concert at Disneyworld - the same trip I saw Cirque du Soleil for the first time.

Now this is a bit of a stretch, but, Joe sings about Rocky Mountain Way.

Also at Disneyworld, they used to have a thing called the 'Disney Institute' which offered some fun classes during the day and entertainment by night.

The night I went, the entertainment for the pretty small audience was John Denver - with his family, doing for the only time ever a 'talking event' where he chatted with the audience and took requests for songs as his family sat just off-stage. Including singing about Rocky Mountains.

In Munich at Oktoberfest, an entire beer tent of 5,000 Germans sang along to an orchestra, John Denver's 'Rocky Mountain High'... surrealistic.

7/10. Good use of random upper case and punctuation, needs more YouTube videos and/or image macros.
Overall a satisfactory rant but needs more effort in the details.

First the concept of the Nature Conservancy is good but in reality I am not impressed with their organization. They couldn't even get my membership right. They just don't care unless you have millions of dollars or thousands of acres.

The the closure of areas on the island have nothing to do with Joe Walsh other then it was a friend of his who donated the newly acquired 8K+ acres to the National park service, its all about environmental stewardship. As for as the church goes eh you think god cares if you pray to him in a church?
