Joey Ramone from the Ramones dies. Been awhile since i've listened to any of their tunes, but i'll always remember the days/nights I spent listening to their album Rocket To Russia.

Even though it has been posted I think the topic well deserves at least this other thread

I wish MTV and the other ahem 'music' channels would do a special on Joey, the Ramones and his life/death.

They practically stopped the channels for Tupac, Biggie and Kurt Cobain.

..and though I'm sure it's not popular opinion, Joey Ramone is much more deserving of that kind of attention.

 

You are lucky to get a passing blurb on empty-vee about Joey. Maybe VH1 will do right and have do Ramones: Behind the Music.
