She works (or worked) in military intelligence...
That does not allow her to have classified material on a non-government computer.
She works (or worked) in military intelligence...
Wow really?
She has clearance to be places; not need to know, let alone have classified information on her personal computer. Classified data/documents have to be transported in very specific ways.
You already looked like an idiot by just going by the “it’s only an affair…” even when many headlines showed why it was a real problem.
For others that barly read headlines here is the reason this went from a non-issue to a CIA director resiging...
"After Broadwell turned over her computer, classified documents were found, which led to further FBI scrutiny of her relationship with Petraeus."

One of the officials said Justice Department officials were unclear on what steps to take after they concluded that there would be no charges against the CIA director or Broadwell and that there had been no breach of national security.
The official said that Clapper has been fully briefed on the FBI investigation and has not called for his office or the CIA to conduct a follow-up probe or damage assessment — indicating that Clapper (Director FBI) does not see the case as a security threat.
This is a very personal matter, not a matter of intelligence,” the senior U.S. intelligence official said.
Excellent point, thank you. I am still concerned that there didn't seem to be any Judicial oversight though. It has a White Water feel to it, let's investigate for one thing then go on a completely separate track. It struck me as bizarre that despite the fact that Kelley was being portrayed as a mere innocent bystander, she had hired Abbe Lowell (a high-powered, high-profile criminal defense attorney who has represented, among others, Bill Clinton, Gary Condit and John Edwards). I expect this story will become even weirder as we learn more.
IMO the people calling this story a witch hunt about a personal matter are misguided. It is simply untenable to have a four-star general, much less the Director of Central Intelligence, carrying on in a manner which makes him readily susceptible to blackmail. The fact that it appears that either Petraeus or Allen or both may have permitted access to compartmentalized, classified information also makes this far worse.
This is getting to look like a really bad soap opera** Rumor has it that this is just the beginning of a rather deep rabbit hole**
its hard to believe all this could happen over chicks this ugly
So much weirdness about this whole affair.
The FBI agent was close to Jill Kelly, and other FBI agents were wondering why this investigation was happening, since the emails she got from Broadwell were not threatening.
The FBI agent got taken off the case (as noted above) for unprofessional behavior.
Broadwell and Petreaus were not "sending" emails, but leaving them as drafts that the other person could login to and read without actually exchanging emails (OMG, terrorist tactic!!!). Once again, shows how normal people can do to get around things.
Now another general is alleged to have issues with the original woman (Jill Kelly)
And how does the FBI get access to all this information ? 20,000+ emails/documents? Working through all of Broadwell's and Petreaus emails? All of this because Jill Kelley was friends with an FBI agent?
Focus, it's all about Benghazi, don't lose focus.
I still don't understand why beghazi is supposed to be a scandal
And you never will, my father never understood why Nixon got in trouble for Watergate**
This is what I mean**** no specifics** Just compare it to other scandals, 'raise questions,' but what is supposed to have been the wrongdoing?

dude it's classic government cover up.. it's obvious.
