I don't care how much inside info you have there is no way to make this kinda money unless you already know the outcome!

OMG!!

This is fake. As you can see it's in the Yahoo! news and gossip section.

And at the very bottom you clearly see that it says "Weekly World News will follow this story closely."

For those who don't know, Weekly World News is like a non sarcastic "The onion". Just fake news.

Of course not. In fact, I'm from the year 2047 and we're taught in school about how when the internet was still in its fairly early stages people would joke around like this on the internet and things.

BTW in the year 2035 Canada is going to invade the US. The war will be 19 days long and your president, Hale joel osmond <sp> will kill himself from the shame of the defeat.

Ummm, I'm from the year 2054 and I do not recall Canada invading the USA. I do recall President Mary-Kate Jr. ordering the 45th Boyscout Battalion and the National Girlscout Defense Iniative to cross the 89th parallel and invade Canada. But I do commend your tank for making a valiant last stand.
Indeed. The 21st century marks a shift in relations between Canada and the US. My new next door neighbor (well if you can call it next door - given population issues in 2036, as you know, people live hundreds to a room using only curtains as privacy) is from 2082 and was part of the Canada rebellion of 2049-2051 in which Canada used guerilla tactics against the boyscout battalion and cubs regiments. The combat was taken south of the border and in 2082 all but a few Americans have diligently served at the feet of the smaller, but elite, Canadian population.

Didn't you make a big deal the other day about how you were an American and not a Canadian or a Briton?

The flaw in the "evidence"-

Look at the laser beam being bent. If it were so, the vehicle they were in would have been twisted into a little ball. That much gravity would have destroyed everything around it.

Easy to explain.
Weekly World News will continue to follow this story as it unfolds. Keep watching for further developments.

Not only that, but even if it were bent in such a way you couldn't see or photograph it because all the light would get sucked away from you. Anything outside the little bubble of normal gravity, or whatever we're supposed to believe is going on here, would just appear pitch black.

How the hell did they obtain a really really clean, almost new looking old IBM computer? I mean look at the computer, it looks brank new. Usually, the plastic turns yellow after some time. Someone is crazy enough to spend a lot of time creating this hoax.

Yeah! it does look pretty clean. My 486 doesn't look that good.

Did anyone see Steve?

If there still are videos of John out there I'd like to see them. I think the civil war starts because Hillary was elected president. You take it from there.

LOL!

It's a hoax, people... just that.

Maybe some of you have seen - for a reason or another - a film that circulates on the 'Net, called "9/11- The Road to Tyranny". It's basically a sort of documentary (although "video essay" is a more adequate description) by some conservative Texan commentator, suggesting that the Federal government is evil and preparing for a New World Order, globalization and all that...

The guy who says he's a time traveller is making exactly the same allegations. Add a bit of Terminator flavour, some Yellow Peril (consequently dealt with by total elimination) and a dash of punishment to the wicked Europeans, stir in a few religious comments that hint at Protestant fundamentalism (he even says "the ten commandments are back into place") and voila, here's a picture of the world in 2036... convenient!

Add a few weird errors in grammar, a penchant for "old rock'n'roll" and light classics, an obsession with the Second World War (why not Vietnam? a period richer in examples of "what if..." instances) and repeated references to the Old Testament, and it seems to me that the thirty-odd Freedom Fighter "Diamond Nickelback" is the internet alter-ego for a much older conservative Southern Republican.

Mybe I'm wrong in my deductions, but I'm looking forward to having a virtual beer with those of you who will still be around in 2005, or even 2015... I know I'll be laughing then just as I'm laughing now.

And by the way, about the computer... that's not the machine Titor allegedly took with him. Read the photo captions more carefully:

"This is the same model of computer John took back to the future. Its an IBM Series 5100, type 5110 (Thanks Pamela for the images) "

Keywords are "same model of computer".

As for why it's so new, well, you can go ahead and find the owner (Pamela something...)

Do you happen to know what the "Weekly World News" is? It's a newspaper tabloid that makes up stories about Bat Boy and how he likes to have sex with sheep. It's fake.

Any facts to back up that blasphemous statement? Links are ok, but I would prefer references from scientific journals.

"What are the other time traveler's destinations, and missions?

I am not aware of the details of other missions. Of the seven, three had already left before I did. I suspect they are on similar missions."

This doesn't make sense because he states that from their perspective, once they leave, they appear an instance later. This means that this must be impossible since he would see all 6 of them before he even left.

That is all.

This, sir, is inevitable.

I travelled in the future and saw it... So I am here today making this bold prediction.

If there are no olympics in 2004 then I believe, remember though that when one travels in time, there is no guarantee that the time they are travelling to is in the same dimension as the one they left.
