No. Several problems with it. There are many problems with the concept of time travel anyway.
Consider this: Let's say that time travel is actually possible. Someone decides to go back in time and kill Hitler before WWII starts in order to prevent Hitler from coming to power. So Hitler dies and WWII never happens. But now that Hitler died and WWII never happened, the person that came back from the future no longer has a reason to come back and kill Hitler. So he doesn't. So Hitler isn't killed and comes into power. Which gives the guy the knowledge that he should come back in time and kill Hitler. Which means that Hitler never comes to power. Which erases the knowledge needed to convince the guy to come back in time to kill Hitler. Which means that Hitler lives and comes into power. Which creates the knowledge necessary for the guy to come back in time and kill Hitler. Which erases the knowledge... And what we have here is a nice little infinite loop in which, ultimately, nothing happens.
This is not to say that something indistinguishable from time travel is impossible. One of my favourite current theories is the idea that time is non-linear, rather it is a decision tree with all possible paths existing in parallel though we are unable to perceive these alternate paths which exist as parallel universes. So if someone went back in time and changes something, he really changes nothing except the perception path on which he is riding. This means that he's not really going back to the same place from which he came since he has now exited his previous branch of the decision tree. This would also mean that time travel into the future, at least in the "Back To The Future" sense is not truly possible since there are an infinite number of futures, each one corresponding to a different branch of the decision tree. Of course, effective time travel into the future is possible with sufficient velocity since as one approaches the speed of light time slows to a crawl and that person would age so slowly that he would effectively be in suspended animation until he slowed down again. Of course, that is not true time travel since it no longer allows for him to change his own decision tree and it can only progress along a single branch of said tree.
