How in the world can these two be compared??? One was a freedom fighter, one was a terrorist and a traitor. His family is probably receiving death threats now.

Hmm. I think the reason Walker turned out the way he did is starting to show itself.

Walker's father is as whack as he is. The only thing the two of them will have in common is, after awhile, they will have both spent a lot of time in prison. That's where the similairty ends.

I heard that to. His dad said Mandela did 26 years so his son will do 20. Implying that there is a price to be paid for freedom fighting and little Johnny is going to pay his price for "doing the right thing".

christ almighty, he went over there to fight against the northern alliance, not to fight against the US. He never picked up arms against the US and refused to carry out terrorist missions inside the USA when asked to.

JUst put him in prison already. Give it a few weeks and I have enough faith in our general prison population that they'll take care of him just like they did with Jeffrey Dahmer.
