Heh I wouldn't think a bunch of 14 year old Emo kids would like his cover. BTW, didn't NIN ask him to do it? Great song, sounds great when NIN does it, and when Cash covers it, plus Cash was such a badass.

Not sure about the situation with NiN, but it's an absolutey gripping music video. After June died, you just kinda sensed that Johnny wasn't too far behind. Applying the video to his life and their relationship, well I just get goosebumps everytime I watch it.

I'm an old fvck...been a Johnny Cash fan for over 40 yrs...Not always a country fan, but some of the country stars were great, even if you were into rock & roll back in the day...
His version of Kris Kristofferson's "Sunday Morning Coming Down" was great. Told quite a story, one that many of us could relate to back then (and still today for way too many)
I have several Johnny Cash songs stored in my PC for casual listening, including:

I smirked when I heard Cash's cover of Hurt. Hey it's an old man singing a NIN song, how pathetic. An old man singing that song may be more poignant but in no way does it measure up to the original. The only people who would like it are Cash fanboys. I prefer the NIN version.
