fuel of war will be an entirely new game built by kaos studios and published by thq (i believe). kaos use to be trauma studios and they were hired by dice early on with bf2 and then fired once bf2 went gold. if anything they will want to own ea/dice for the dirty tactics and business practices that they suffered - from an interview i read trauma (now kaos studios) got screwed out of a couple hundred $$$ when they were fired by dice or ea (not sure who fired them but it was one or the other - the article i read was some time ago, around the 1.12 bf2 patch)

Dang. By that time QW's will be out, UT 2007, Elveon, and **hopefully** Project Offset. I don't know if it will still hold my interest with such titles competing against it. But if it's gameplay out paces everything else.....it be worth it.

Anyways. I'll be stuck on NWN2 for a while. Kinda hard for advertisements to be based in an Anglo-Saxon RPG.

I am most definately boycotting the game. For someone who was vvery excited about the game's launch, I find all this to be very disappointing.

I did not like BF2 nor will I buy BF2142. I tried the demo for BF2 and did not like it. I did not like whole commander thing nor the veterans sign up for 2142. Though I still love 1942

I'm going to boycott this game. There is no need for in-game advertising when there is already a $50 cover charge just to get in the door. Add to that all of the horror stories of bugs in BF2 and this will be a game that will be easily skipped.

yup, I'm out. I liked BF2, but this is little more than a rushed mod. DiCE should have fixed BF2, then gone on to develop BF2142.
