I will answer your question by asking one and giving another example.

In what universe can a well trained person applying a rear naked choke for 15 minutes killing someone be deemed an accident?

Example: Let's say you and I were in a public pool and you were going around grabbing the asses of various girls. I dunk your head under the water to get you to stop assaulting people. But instead of a simple dunk I hold you under for 15 minutes and you drown. I doubt anyone would say your death was an accident.

How about the second case where the defender stuck the dude with a knife?

it's an accident because the victim was black, was poor, and being a nuisance. The first two are bad enough, but scaring white people?

If that was a black ex-marine choking a super drunk white guy to death for ten minutes, that was being a nuisance on that subway car, he would not doubt for a minute it was homicide. we all know this.

That is Bull Shit.

The race has nothing to do with it.

How can you even form an opinion about that case without knowing anything about the victim's conduct which is supposed to be what justified the homicide? Your article literally says nothing about it other than that there is video of the victim "harassing subway riders" which can mean a lot of different things.

On the news they said he punched the mans girlfriend in the face.

The way I see it is the people are getting tired of all this BS on the Subway. It is going to get worse if someone doesn't step up.

I don't want to get into another case. Answer the question for THIS case since you are claiming THIS case is accidental.

Any thoughts or did you just want to insult as usual?

I'm not familiar with that case and didn't have time to read about it last night, it wasn't a priority. I had things going on. But I'm quite familiar with the Neely case.

Also I'm pretty sure you would vote for DeSantis, I think you may have said it here actually. And you are quite aware of all he is doing.

Another exhibit. Only terrible people would vote for DeSantis while knowing his agenda.

What the fuck does Desantis have to do with anything in this thread?
I don't care what the subject is. You're going to bring up the Republican Boogeyman you see him everywhere.
You keep mentioning how random people are going to vote. You'll see some terrible person and say well, at least I knew who they voted for. What is up with that? You know a whole lot of people don't vote at all.

We were having a discussion about PCGeek. I'm not sure why you didn't follow along.

Also I never implied to be terrible you must have voted for x or y. No idea where you pulled that one from. Whatev.

You don't have any thoughts on the other case or are you just avoiding it.

In this universe obviously.

I do not think Penny intentionally killed anyone. I do believe that Mr. Neeley acting the fool too many times ( long record of misbehaviour ) and he came up on the short end of the stick this time. There were other riders on the subway that also agree with this.

I answered your question. Now answer mine what are your thoughts on the stabbing incident?

So what you're saying is that you want the US to have strong safety nets like Europe?

We need to reopen the Mental institutions and quit letting these people with mental problems run loose in the streets, subways etc...

It may not be a 5 star hotel, but a mental institution is much better than leaving them to their own devices on the street. That never seems to work out and never will. But it will lead to more of these people getting injured or killed.

I see his family wants murder charges brought against Mr. Penny They knew he had mental problems, why were they not taking care of him. If they had maybe he would be alive today.

The average family is not equipped to take care of someone with those kinds of issues. It takes professional help and it needs to be available.
You do realize his mother was murdered and left on the freeway? Is that the family you're talking about?
His stepfather murdered his mother when he was 14 years old.
His aunt has been trying to get him help but it was all about the money. That subway encounter should have never happened.

So it's the family's fault that Penny saw a mentally ill homeless person as an opportunity to get away with murder? Because somehow, in many people's minds (including yours apparently), it should be lawful to be able to play judge, jury, and executioner with any people you might find undesirable?
I wholeheartedly agree that mentally ill people need help. Including your particular antisocial mental illness as well.
The power of the law resides solely with the police and the courts for a reason. Because if it didn't, we'd have sociopathic crazies like Penny out there murdering people they don't like everyday, pretending they're some kind of 'good guy' comic book hero when they're anything but.

And BTW, why were those mental institutions closed down in the first place?

He's just looking for any excuse to justify his political ideology's belief that they should be able to take the law into their hands whenever they feel like it. That such a belief (which would quickly lead to lynch mobs and political killings) is a greater threat to law and order and the public safety than practically anything else imaginable is something their tiny egos just won't accept.
