Joy Ride: Enjoyed this flick, great rental --CONTAINS A SPOILER OR TWO-

[Hossenfeffer]

Hadn't heard a thing about this movie but my girlfriend had sad she'd heard good things. Got done watching it around a half hour ago and I think my pulse is still a tad elevated. Similar in feel to something like "Duel" or "Breakdown". A good mix of comedy and suspense while not sacrificing credibility. I laughed, I jumped... it was bettah than Cats.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Not so much her acting as her face.

One of the better flicks I've rented in a long time, well worth it.

Myself my girlfriend and some family watched it a couple months ago, while I agree it was a good movie, can someone help me out with how it ended. No one that I watched ti with could figure it out.

So anyways at the end where the police shoot the driver of the truck and he's dead, for some reason both Leelee and I think Walker look at the dudes watch for some reason. Then right at the end the cops say the driver of the truck was some driver for an ice company, that just seemed odd to all of us, since they had that run in with the driver of a truck with the word ICE on it. So was he the killer? it sure didn't look like him in the truck at the end. Or was he a helper, or what? I am confused as is everyone else. Plus if I remember correctlly, don't you hear the guy on the CB at the end of the movie as well, making you think the actual guy is still alive? Please someone explain this to me.

I saw the movie a few months ago and asked the same question on here, nobody really knows. I think they left it up to you to figure out.

Yeah, laugh it up. I called Xerox Man after I watched the movie and told him it was kind of freaky. So what does he do? Picks up the phone and says..... "Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaandy Caaaaaaaaaaane". :| :Q heehee

All right . . . the dude in the ice truck chased down Steve and Paul to give them back their credit card. Then the mad trucker drove right through the ice truck. I'm assuming that he killed the ice truck driver and stuck him in the cab of his semi. Then, when he drove the truck through the hotel, he stuck the corpse in the driver's seat of his rig and set it to drive. The guys were looking at the watch because they recognized the ice truck driver's watch and knew the mad trucker was still alive. Their suspicions are confirmed when they hear him on the CB at the end.

Has anybody seen the DVD? It has like 5 alternate endings, very cool.

Hmm, think I need to watch the DVD, it's supposed to have an alternate ending or two. Whether or not the endings would change the story much remains to be seen.

I don't know guys, something just wasn't right with the end of that movie, it just doesn't make sense, but still a good movie.

yup, i watched them. they sure changed that diner scene around a lot when the guys went in naked. One of the scenes they had Paul running in his birthday suit for a good while, heh.. And they cut out the part where Zahn and LeeLee were making out in the bed.

As I said to Hossenfeffer, a driver switch just doesn't seem plausible. I mean the main reason being that the girl in the back of the truck would have seen it and told everybody. I also assumed that the watch was from the ice truck driver, but I rewinded the movie and I didn't see a watch on the Ice driver. Plus the guy holding leelee int he hotel at the end was wearing the same shirt as the guy that dies int he truck, plus didn't leelee see the guys face, wouldn't she know?
