it is clear you have not considered socioeconomic/nslp aspects and matriarchal family structures of black families.
using your flawed logic, all asian countries with high incidents of physical / corporal punishment would have high incarceration rates as well, right? oh wait, taiwan, korea, and japan don't. in fact, all three are notorious for whipping their kids both in school and at home, yet they are probably the most productive kids on the planet with low crime rates. could it be, that because they have better socioeconomic conditions and better family structures, they are far less likely to be in prison?!?!
edit: basic corpun rates for
taiwan schools:
1999: 83% experienced corp punishment.
2000: 74%
2005: 65%
"Direct infliction of physical pain was used in 56.8% of cases (including hitting with a hand or stick, deprivation of physical needs, holding painful postures). Almost a quarter (23.9%) of students received punishment that may constitute crimes of assault, instigation of assault or public insults. Almost one in ten (9.5%) of those who experienced physical pain were punished in this way over 10 times during the year."
