But then he managed to pretty thoroughly marginalize himself (although there's little doubt he had the "assistance" of less-obviously, more but more truly-influential people in front of, and behind, the scenes.) I'd have said he'd done that before 2016, but I guess the precise time period is arguable...<shrug>You can’t deny he’s a very influential person, I’d argue one of the most in 2016.

Ever since Oct 2016 I’m not sure of how much legitimate Assange we’ve actually heard from though. Very strange happenings followed by very different behavior. He (and Wikileaks?) was compromised in some fashion.

The pizza stuff is dumb as are the people buying into it but if you start digging something did happen around Oct 16 to Assange, we just don’t know what.
